The CDC reported that 75% of youth report adverse mental health impacts due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and 1 in 4 have contemplated suicide. The need to build awareness around mental health has never been as crucial as it is today.
In partnership with National Alliance on Mental Illness and Billboard, Unmasked is a series of short-form video portraits exploring mental health issues through the lens of artists sharing their own personal journey. The series features artists across genres sharing experiences related to a diverse array of mental health issues – including substance abuse, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and more.
Unmasked shows us that we are bound by our shared humanity. If we are willing to unmask our inner worlds, together we can foster that promotes empathy and understanding around mental health.
